The need:
As a freelance client, I was able to assist the university foundation in creating and designing various overflow projects. We had a smooth communication process and I worked on projects ranging from booklets to microsites.
The deliverables:
Designing print booklets for students, alumni, and donors.
During my time with the NIU Foundation, I was able to build some beautiful booklets for different groups of people. These have been some wonderful pieces to work on because of the stories they tell through design, photography, and writing alike. I believe these really allowed the foundation to shine and show not only its mission, but its impact.
I used Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator for each booklet.
Digitizing the Annual Report.
With the help of Adobe Spark, the NIU Foundation team and I digitized the annual report as a simple lading page for viewers that would rather look on from their phones and/or computers. This was an easy an cost-effective way to reach a broader audience.
Photo Retouching:
Every so often I would be asked to retouch a photo. Here are some examples of work that was requested.
